What the tables show
■ Primary schools are ranked according to the percentage of 11-year-olds achieving the nationally expected standards – level four – in national curriculum tests in English and maths.
■ It is a measure of the standards they have achieved in these core subjects during ‘key stage two’ of the curriculum, between the ages of 7-11.
■ Schools are listed alphabetically within their own local education authorities. Columns show the number of pupils eligible to sit the tests and the percentage achieving level four in each of the two subjects.
■ The symbol ‘n/a’ denotes small schools with 10 or fewer eligible pupils on roll. No data is shown for these schools. The symbol ‘~‘ denotes any school that has boycotted the test |
